DX6 not recognizing low throttle

When I tried to reprogram my align 35 ESC with my DX6. I start with the throttle high, listen for the beeps for it to recognize the high throttle, move it to low throttle and nothing.
When I plug in power, the ESC beeps like the throttle is not in the low spot. I have checked the obvious. What next?

what 'obvious' stuff did you check?

did you verify that the throttle trim was set to either neutral or even full-low?

did you mess w/ the throttle channel low-end ATV?

trim was set at 0 and I tried sertting it to full low & nothing changed.

I am not sure what you mean by throttle low end ATV

Do you have a throttle curve set in the radio or is the radio in throttle hold.. The throttle curve has to be a straight line from 0 to 100 to set the ESC.
