I have stretched my 400 to run 473 blades, and flight time is important to me, so I want to lower the headspeed.
For my skill level smooth sports flying is what I want now, but when I run under ~2100 RPM the heli wobbles. The tail has a soft movement up and down 2 or 3 times a second.
No tail wag is present.
Increasing the main rotor gain above the recommended Logo 400 setting just makes the wobble faster. Lower gain slows it down, but does not eliminate it. Even as low as 40.
What can I do to get a smooth flying heli at lower RPMs
I get the performance, in terms of collective and cyclic response, I want at about 1850 RPM
I'm using Edge FBL 473 and Edge 86 tails
thanks, Paul
