View Full Version : Blade CP pro just spinning

ok this is getting a little frustrating now. I replaced the blades and disconnected the G90. I reconnected the 4 in 1 to check to see if the G90 was bad, but the same problem persists. I adjusted the proportional and no change. The heli is still spinning.
I was checking the head out and found that at around quarter throttle, it has a wobble. As the throttle increased, the wobble reduced.
I also checked my spindle shaft, the main shaft that goes through the bell hiller, by turning the hex screws on the ends and I found a slight bend.
I still don't understand even with these issues, why the heli tail is spinning like mad. I've had bent spindles, main shafts, blades out of track etc and the tail still held. I'm not sure if the 4 in 1 still has some input with the proportional mixing, even though it's turned all the way down.
Come on guys help me out here. Thanks.

reverse the wiring going to the tail motor at the 3 in 1. if that doesn't work you might have a worn out tail motor.

The tail motor works, the tail rotor spins fine. The scenario is that I'm standing over the heli which is on the ground and I begin to increase throttle. As i increase, the tail breaks loose and starts spinning in circles on the ground. The more throttle, the headspeed of the main rotor and tail rotor increases and the tail spins around faster and faster. Nothing I do with the proportional, the trim, the stick on the tx helps. The tail itself just spins.
I ensured that the motor connections are correct with the correct polarity. What else?

Is the tail spinning with the main rotor (same direction) or the opposite way?
If it is spinning the same direction as the main rotor, it could still be the tail motor, even though it appears to work.
Try removing and then replacing the servo connectors from the 3 in 1. Maybe one of them isn't making a good connection. Also, the "gyro" connection could be bad as well.
Or, maybe the 3 in 1 is going bad?

I kind of had a similar problem- I replaced just about the whole helicopter including buying a new 3 n 1 unit. I started with a new tail motor-that didn't fix the problem so I went on to the next thing and then the next and so on, but i never considered the tail motor because it was new when I put it on. My last resort was to change the tail motor again and after all the money I spent and all the time I put into this thing troublshooting it turned out the it was a weak tail motor and it wasn't strong enough to keep up with the torque of the heli. I had just wasted all that time by installing a "new" motor when it was actually a piece of crap.

did you recently change the wiring in the 3 n 1? i just did and wired them backwards and all it did was spin. yes i know im a noob before i get bashed :dontknow

That is what I'm thinking. I done the same thing. Double check your wires from the main and tail motors and make sure they are connected to the right pins.

Hope you figured his out by now, but if not, check the REV (servo reverse) setting on the G90. Sounds like it it set up in the wrong direction.
