Are these the same part with different numbers? I have one of each in front of me and they look identical.

One says for flybarless, but in real life I can't spot a difference. Anyone know?

Im not 100% but I think that the FBL version is just a larger diameter shaft than the regular one.

Those spindle shafts will be identical, they should both be 8mmX93mm. The O550 spindle shafts are 8mmX76.6mm. The V50, Fusion 50 FB/FBL spindles are what you use in the O550 FBL head which is the same as the Velo. Have I rambled enough.
I should have just said "Yes".

The flybarless head uses v50 grips and spindle. I got confused for awhile on my used bird because the flybarred head on it also has an upgraded spindle and grips.

If they are the same then why the price difference?

Look at the price difference for the O550 gyro tray and a V50 gyro tray. Exact same part.

I edited this post, keep the prices low on the 550 ands shhhh. Or else theyll mark it up, not the other way around.

Neither of these is marked as a 550 part though. These are marked both for the Velocity 50, it's just that one says flybarless and one doesn't.
Does the flybarred and flybarless fusion/velocity use the same spindle? I can check them with calipers, but I hate to open the packs just for that as I have them on my spare parts pegboard.
