They appear to have safety wires on them..look close after some of the crashes.

Naw, I think there was one that got caught in some lighting wires, but you could not fly *through* obstacles if it has a wire attached to it...

Crikey, you guys are harsh! These are stable helis, you can see that by the limited amount of drifting especially in ground effect, BUT, they have to be good pilots too for that precision hovering, at a distance, with obstacles between them and their helis, and limited clearances, and the timing for getting through the moving hazards. Anyone care to set up a CX2 obstacle course in their back yard and give it a go - its harder than it looks....... Anyhow, terrific fun. Only the Japanese could have thought of this kind of 'Endurance' style heli game show. I'm surprised they didn't have spikes, fire and electric wire traps for them too  I love that manic Jap over excited, over the top commentary, it make me howl.

Yeah guys- give credit where it's due! That was pretty damn good flying no matter which chopper was used. But you do have to admit only the japanese can give that kind of comentary! I kept expecting Godzilla to come after their birds. I wish I was that steady.

I think that they were flying Kyosho heli's.

It'd be cool to setup some kind of competition like that in the US! I can just now hover within about a 4' circle so that kind of flying is totally sick to me.
:WOW

Any of you 3D guys think you can do that kind of flying? I mean, do the skills transfer or is it a new skill that must be developed?

Someone setup a course in thier backyard and get a vid up!
