I'm having trouble getting the fiberglass blades that came with the MX to track. I'm have adjusted and adjusted the tracking. I don't think its the blades , there's alot of slop in the head on this heli and to the best of my limited heli experience this much slop shouldn't be there. I can't get a stable hover with the way the heli is right now it bobs all over. Any advice or help would be appreciated.

You know, I've really never liked x400's blade grips, they just don't seem to do the trick, not sure about the metal ones. It was always a pain getting them to track(but I was using plastic)., After I changed them to trex grips, my blades tracked great, and I could use all the align blades without shims. I think your going to have to find a blade that the heli likes. Make sure they're balanced. Check the feathering shaft. Any bumb and it will prolly bend. I really like the align blades. You should try a couple align 315's or 325's woodies along with the shims, as I'm sure you don't want to change metal parts out. GL on it.

Or upgrade to the t-rex blade grips. You can buy the t-rex grip set with bearings for $12-$14 and a set of 4 spindles for around $4 to to move to the t-rex grip system is less than $20 and that will fix a lot of issues with tracking. I really like the align blades. I just posted a howto on how to use the align grips with the MX. It will work on the 450 as well. The way I look at is if you are going to go all metal you might as well use the plastic grips. that way if you do crash the cheap grips break instead of something expensive in the rest of the cnc head. just my humble opinion.

Spindles (were cheaper at my lhs)

That's everything needed for the upgrade not including the blades if you don't have them.
