On the RjX of USA web site there is mention that all the RJX parts fit the AS50, here is a quick overview!!!
AS50 is the JR Air Skipper 50, we also have an Electric conversion kit that uses the entire heli minus the engine/clutch bell, and fuel tank everything else remains in tact. Helibrite is the US Distributor and carries enough spares to support every heli that is sold, he is also looking to have a few hobby shops carry the Hurrican but want to ensure that you will always have parts so he is looking to start off with just a few shops to make sure that the customers are taken care of, nothing like going to a LHS only to find they are out and you have to wait a week or so so he wants to make sure that the shops he chooses are going to carry all the replacement parts and be able to support there customers.
We run an OS50 hyper with a Hatori JK pipe and get over 10 minutes closure to 12 with the 2oz header tank and the kits also include a header tank.
Bobby Smith Electric guru has run the carbon RjX blades on the "E" Hurrican and his other Electric and glow machines and is very pleased with them, he compares them with Rotortechs that he has flown in the past.
look in the HF Video forum there are two videos of our RJX pilot with his carbon glow machine, he's 14 yr old Steven Fox, he is flying the full carbon/full metal 007 kit
If you made it to the Port Charlotte Fun Fly Steven was one of the noon demo pilots with the yellow canopy, he flew right behind Jared.
Very nice solid machine, stable hover and FFF, and can take a 3D beating.
Another nice feature of the Hurrican is the new factory painted white with painted windshield included in the kit with optional yellow/ fade to white at bottom and red/ fade to white at bottom, very nice quality fiberglass canopies.
This heli has been out in Europe for almost two years and Helibrite brought it to the US about 6 months ago, G-10 or carbon stacked frame design, metal bearing blocks throughout, push/pull on the CCPM setup, can be built CCPM or MPM all hardware included for either build preference, carbon with radix blades and 14oz/2oz header with fiberglass canopy weighs 8.4 lbs ready to fly.
Were going to be in Tampa Saturday for Erich's Tampa Classic, if your there look us up.
