Ok...question.

I am in the set-up phase for my CP. Sticks both at center, with all servo arms level....swash level. Setting pitch with a gauge and a DX7. In order to get the pitch range (normal mode) at -2 degrees to +12 degrees, I have to set the percentages of pitch in the pitch curve menu to start at 35% and end at 65%. The Finless video suggests the settings/endpoints for the pitch curve should be around 43%, with 50% at mid stick and 100% at the top. Why are mine so low ? First thought was too much servo throw (using HS-65's in the third hole of the double arm). Is that it ? Or can I correct this by lowering the swash mix percentages (DX7 sets them at 60% to start....though Bob says 50%) ??

Any help on this would be much appreciated.

Don't go absolute with the numbers. The important thing is that your servos have good throw and don't bottom at any point. And that you get the actual pitch you want when blades are measured with a pitch gauge.

Move the servo links only to get near the ballpark. Then fine tune your endpoints on the DX7. Also adjust Cyclic and Swash percentages accordingly. Match the numbers with actual performance. Don't copy someone else's numbers.

Thanks, Gino.....

In the absence of responses, that's sort of what I decided to do......I very much appreciate your confirmation !!
