Fried an Engine today..Oh thats the way it go's sometimes...But after removing the engine and starting to clean and lube everything I discovered that the bearing was missing from the 3rd Bearing block..I have no idea how long it has been missing. I guess I need to inspect it more often. Any ideas on how to keep it in? I guess just clean it and install with Red Locktite??? Please excuse the bad pic as all I have here is my cell camara...Thanks

We use green loctite and primer here to lock those bearings in.

Dean,

You can use red loctite (#262) for bearings but I would recommend using green (#609 or #603(oil tolerant) or standard #640). It is a high strength for mounting bearings to blocks and shafts. Use it sparingly and keep it out of your bearings :D

I have Green, Red, purple, and blue.. :arggg: .I cleaned it with isopropyl and installed it with red....and since I have 2 spare blocks I staked the corners just to make sure I dont lose this bearing. Relubed and reinstalled.... Now on to the engine installation. Thanks Guys
