Super cool looking machine. It looks like it flies great! It's strange not to see the rocking beam collective on the Raptor!

Here is the review
CCPM Raptor Review
Well I have completed the build up of my CCPM Raptor Upgrade from Xero G. The craftsmanship of the kit is just awesome. The Frames are titanium colored close weave carbon. Beyond the cosmetics the machining is some of the best I have seen, everything lined up extremely well and the completed frames are very rigid in comparison to the stock raptor frames. It’s a stacked frame design with black stand off spacers and silver colored allen bolts.
The assembly took about 5 hours. One thing you may want to do is get new mast and starter shaft bearings, this will keep you from having to split the old raptor frames. You use a lot of the parts from your raptor in the build up, and everything fit together very nicely. I have the new OS 50 Hyper and the fan shroud doesn’t fit it very well, you can probably file down the sides of the head to have it fit a bit nicer (same as I have done on my Fury). The electronics tray is very small and cramped if you have a remote head governor and gyro.
First flight after the build up was a dream, I had some assistance getting all the controls set up perfectly, I had set it up with 3D in mind, 0 degrees at ½ stick and +11 top and -11 bottom. For hold I added an extra degree of positive pitch.
It is definitely much more responsive that the stock raptor setup, its also a lot less pitchy than the stock setup.
Clint Akins (ClintStone) did a mild 3D test flight for me and said it felt extremely stable and was very smooth. We conducted the tests with 20 MPH winds and gusts up to 40 due to a passing hurricane.
Here is a list of the complete setup;
Xero G CCPM Frame Kit
Stock Raptor 50 V2 Head
600mm V Blades
85mm V Paddles
Stock Tail Blades
OS Hyper 50
9252 Futaba Digital Servos on Cyclic
GY 601 Gyro with 9251 Servo on tail and tail mount for servo
GV-1 Governor
149 PCM RX
9ZHP WCII TX
This combination made for a very 3D capable 50 size heli that was fun to fly and stable as a rock. You cant go wrong with the Xero G upgrade .

Its definately a well worth upgrade, The CCPM seems to fly alot smoother and it feels a bit more stable. I no longer have the bird as I have ugraded to Fury's but to me it fely like a mini Fury.
