Hi all, I'm a bit confused here.
I have a Cellpro 4s balancing charger and a Thunder Power 4s 2100 15c pack. I also have some 'pigtails' that are essentially Cellpro plugs with wires attached so you can cut off other makes of ballance lead plugs and replace them with a Cellpro compatible plug.

Heres the problem - The TP pack has 6 balance wires for the 4s pack. It would seem like maybe (and I could be wrong) black= common -ve, Red = common +ve and 4 coloured wired between them, one for each cell. The Cell pro pigtail on the other hand has just 5 wires, one black and 4 white. How can I connect the 6 TP wires to the Cellpro 5 wire pigtail?????

Or do I have to get the special Cellpro to Thunder Power adapter board (about 25 bucks equivalent). This device allows connections of any TP packs upto 4s to the Cellpro charger - I'll get it if I really have to.

Any advice greatfully received........... Rick

you could take the covering off the pack where the balance wires are solderd onto the pack. then solder the black wire from the cellpro cable onto the pack negative. and using the instructions provided in the cellpro 4s manual solder the remaining wires in the correct place, using a volt meter to show where to solder the wires. also the red wire is the positive for the pack.

The CP-TP/PQ adapter board is $9.95 from FMA INC (cell pro comp). You don't have to get it but you will spend your time flying instead of soldering.

Maybe the price is different going to England.

Thanks guys. That adapter board in Uk is 9.95 - UK POUNDS + tax (about 22 bucks). They really take us for a ride over here.
