i was thinking of buying the esky cp2 main and tail motors for use with my blade cp pro because the esky parts are cheaper. i think many of the parts are the same but not all. are they compatible? thanks.

I'm not entirely sure on the main motor. I would imagine they are very close if not the same, especially if you take a close look at the pinion and make sure they have the same tooth width and height.

On a side note I have seen a post where a guy was complaining about tail motors not meshing with the gear just right. Honestly I think he was picky about it, but he did post pictures and the pinion on the esky tail motor had the same number of teeth, and the same height, but were much wider than the e-flights, and didn't mesh quite as well. Honestly you could just change out the pinion if it was that big of a deal, or change out the little plastic tail gear for the esky gear that would mesh properly (might have to change out the tail rotor too if they don't cross right over). I personally think that this guy was really picky, because several people posted that he was blowing smoke and that they had tried the same motors from the same vendor and they had worked fine.

All in all yes I think it will work just fine, but you might have to change out the pinion at the most, and an $11 pinion puller is not that big of a deal. =)
