I have to many as it is, and i am going to be needing one for a 6C for my Trex 600 so what in your opinion is a good all in one that wont hurt my wallet. for Li-Po, NMH etc. i want to be able to discharge as well.

and sell off my other chargers

what do you guys think of this ? http://www.deeteeenterprises.com/NS.AlignRC.Charger.RCC-6SX.php

any other suggestions maybe?

thanks guys!

I'm in the same boat as you and so far I've picked three chargers that i think would do quite nicely....but i am still researching.

Graupner Ultra Duo Plus 30
Thunder Power 1010C
Bantam eStation BC8

I like the BC-6/8, if the BC8 had a 110v input Id buy it in a heartbeat but alas it doesent.

It depends what you think your needs are now and down the track. For example:
* Do you want the option of going to HV setups (8/10/12S) on your T600 ?
* Do you want the option of charging above 1C ?
* Do you want the option of using LiFe (A123/M1) packs ?
* Is convenience and simplicity more important than charging time or is fastest-possible charging what you value ?

Here are some of the best solutions I have found in my research:

eStation BC6 - NiCd/NiMH/Pb/LiIon/LiPo/LiFe, 2S-6S, 50W/5A output, ac/dc input
For maximum convenience at a good price with lots of features the BC6 is hard to beat. It is a one-box solution with integrated ac/dc power supply, multi-chemistry charger and balancer. However, with a 50W/5A output it will be slow to charge 6S batteries (6S lipo at about 2.3A max, approx 0.5C for a typical T600 pack). If you don't mind the wait this could be a good choice, but I think it may be too limiting for your needs. With LiFe (A123/M1 cells) support it also gives you the option of using these new technology cells.

eStation BC8 - NiCd/NiMH/Pb/LiIon/LiPo/LiFe, 2S-8S, 150W/7A output
This is a two-box solution since you need a DC power supply. Otherwise it has excellent features and good performance. With 150W/7A output it will charge a 6S lipo at up to about 6.9A which is plenty for a typical T600 pack. Being 2S-8S it gives you some future-proofing in case you want to upgrade to an 8S setup on your T600. With LiFe (A123/M1 cells) support it also gives you the option of using these new technology cells.

eStation 902 + PB6 balancer(s) - NiCd/NiMH/Pb/LiIon/LiPo/LiFe, 2S-12S, 200W/9.9A output
This is a three-box solution since you need a DC power supply and separate balancer. Otherwise it has excellent features and high performance. Being 2S-12S it gives you some future-proofing in case you want to upgrade to an HV setup on your T600. With LiFe (A123/M1 cells) support it also gives you the option of using these new technology cells. This is a high-end solution but is not cheap and you need to buy two PB6 balancers if you want to go above 6S.

Hyperion EOS1210i+ LBA10 balancer - NiCd/NiMH/Pb/LiPo/LiFe (in Apr), 2S-12S, 180W/10A output
This is a three-box solution since you need a DC power supply and separate balancer. Otherwise it has excellent features and high performance. Being 2S-12S it gives you some future-proofing in case you want to upgrade to an HV setup on your T600. With LiFe (A123/M1 cells) support due to be available in units for sale from April it also gives you the option of using these new technology cells. Looks to be excellent value for money (IIRC under $200 for the charger/balancer combo). Although perhaps not as convenient as a BC8 with it's integrated balancer if you think you may need the higher cell count or higher-power output it looks like an excellent choice.

Let us know what you choose and how it works out for you.

First off thanks for the reply guys, i am new to the larger li-po packs,

and at this point anything that can charge faster then 2-3 hours I'm all about, but i do want the best bang for the buck and not something i have to upgrade again in a year. also something that doesn't need a rocket scientist to operate, a avg Joe like my self must be able to figure it out. with both options of charging at home from my power supply as well as from the air field.

would like to axe my Super brain and sell it. i see no need in have 3 chargers that do different things. but better to have one that does it all.

The Li-po i am thinking of getting is Flight Power EVO 20 6s 4900mha http://modefosheli.com/inc/sdetail/73331, i think thats what bob is using in his 600?

You won't have to ever update the e-station 902.

I recently purchased the Thunder Power 1010c with a balancer and I'm super happy with it. Plus you can upgrade the firmware. It costs a little more, but I have peace-of-mind when charging.
