Has anyone used the A640 on a T-Rex 450... possibly without the standard batteries - running off the heli power pack?

I have flown my 450 AP ship with a 12 oz dummy load. It flew decently but felt heavy. The flight was mostly hovering about 30 feet off the ground. Autoing with any chance of survivability for the most part out of the question.
FYI the 640 weighs roughly 12 ounces with batteries.

According to Canon website the 640 weighs 245 grams without batts. Perhaps it could be rigged up to the main 2170 lipo with a voltage regulator stepped down?
Have just done a test and found that the SE including a battery and 245 grams for 640 - total weight = 1.142 Kg or 2.52 pounds.

Mine flies well at 1165 grams, but autos like a brick!
Karbonbird, can you detail what is included in that AUW, as the 1165g is with a 160g camera, using a DE regulator and a 2S 300mAh Lipo to power the camera and the downlink (11g pinhole job) with Askman mount, AP2000i, RS10DS Rx, 450TH, HS56 swash servos, GY240, Align 3S 2100mAh main battery, micro antenna, no canopy, 335PRO woodies, and metal rotor head.

Hi Tony - that's the whole setup - some foam noodles on the skids, lipo batt plus a few cans of cat food for ballast (weight of A640). Just slapped the whole lot on a scale. Camera weighs 245 grams without batts. The camera will be nose mounted.
