HH/Rate in FF?

I've just started learning forward flight and was wondering if Rate would be better than heading hold for FF? So far I've only been using HH. Haven't really used rate at all... maybe once in a hover accidentally right after lift off...

Sticking with Heading Hold is fine, it will teach you to fly the tail. Many of us don't use rate mode for anything more than setting the linkage length.
