Everything works fine normally, and in instructor mode, but when I enter heli hover training, I have no throttle input. Anybody experienced this problem?

Ugh, i have noticed that the controls are very strange in hover training. I have no clue why it is setup like that but somewhere it shows you the controls.

Do you mean that you can set the controls for hover training only?

I cannot get the controls to change at all in hover training. I think there was a window or something that showed you what the controls are. Sorry I can't be more helpful. I was thinking something was wrong with my controller when I first tried it. I really don't understand how the hover training can help if the controls are totally different than what anyone would even consider using...

If you have the orginal controller, try that and see if works correctly for you.

The whole point of the hover training is that it lets you select how many degrees of freedom you have control over and how many are managed for you by the simulator.

IIRC by default it starts in a mode where the sim manages everything except the elevator (pitch). You can then choose to enable elevator and aileron (pitch and roll) or elevator, aileron and rudder (pitch, roll and tail rotor).

In all modes, the sim is controlling the throttle and collective pitch so that you simply concentrate on the orientation axes.

Hope this explains it cleary.

KG,

Thanks for the input, but this still does not solve my problem. Everything works fine on all modes, including heli orientation training, but when I enter heli hover training the throttle simply does not work on the DX7. (This is with "Throttle, Pitch, Roll, Yaw" selected).

Hmm. on my hover training, lets say I have just throttle to control. It is the "left/right" on the right stick. I don't understand the reasoning behind this. It would me much easier just to use your normal throttle movements (mode 2 - left stick throttle). This is the same on all the training programs, Yaw is "up/down" on the left stick. I just don't get it either bosco500, and I am using the stock transmitter.
