Does anyone know what the part(s) number change(s) is/are for a Shuttle
ZX cooling fan/ starter pulley when installing a newer Enya 35 or OS 37H ring engine? The original Enya shaft is keyed, a newer version has two "flats" on the shaft. As well, the OS has a flat also. :dontknow

So you have a belt start shuttle and are upgrading the motor, but the crankshafts are diffrent. Is that correct.
Or are you changing the fan and flywheel pulley for the beltstart?

I 've had a shuttle zx since the early 90's. I recently bought on ebay 2 more shuttle zx's. One has the same enya SS35TN engine, the other is the complete unbuilt shuttle kit. The deal also came with a new, in box, OS37H ring engine. When I decide to use it, I need to know what fan goes with the OS. If/can I "upgrade" to a shaft starter, I still need a cooling fan that will accept the clutch and have the proper clearance.

Here is a fan and hub set for the belt start version for the newer engines.

The top start conversion may be hard to find now. On top of that it will almost cost as much as a new shuttle plus2 kit to complete the conversion. $100-$150. plus the cost of the hub it could be as much as $190.00.
402-519 TS kit $100 at Ricks but is discontinued. Contact Jeff Green at MRC to see if it can be found anywhere.

Depending on how old your ZX is you might need a Frame set and a bearing. The key to know if your frames are new enough is switch position. If your power switch is located in the forward section of the frame in between the upper and lower section then you have the good frame set. If your switch is mounted in the lower section of the frame then you have an older frame that needs to be replaced.

Jon,
Thanks, Ive seen the listing before but didn't commit as I wasn't sure of the application. I'm going to order a couple. As for the shaft starter...... My original shuttle has the switch in the lower position and the "new" shuttle unfortunately is the same...as well as the third unbuilt kit. :arggg: So much for the shaft start idea.
Thanks again,
Keith
