I've used one on my jr 9303 since day 1. I havent had any problems with it and it easy to install. I'm starting my 3 rd year with it..

it's easy to install in the 9chps...to prevent breaking the antenna base, or the xmtr case  i always remove the antenna from the base whenever i'm not using or carrying the xmtr...

I've had one for a while and like it. However, I've removed most of the Dean's antenna's from my helis and use full length wire antennae. This was probably a preexisting range check problem with the electrics, the gas ones seem OK with the Dean's setup.

A good range check with the Smiley's removed is all the way across a parking lot (150 feet). A few of my electrics were only getting 30 feet or so, so I put the long antenna back on and resolved the problem.

I run a rubber ducky on my 7CHP, never had any problems, Deans RX antenna on helis, full length on planks. (just never tried Deans on a plank)

Something to think about since I've been shot down twice from TX's with "rubber ducky's". Once when a TX was left turned on in the TX impound, and once when a TX was turned on without the pin to show another pilot something. With a collapsed antenna you can get away with a lot of mistakes. With a "'Ducky" it's at full power, so take some extra caution with a "Ducky" installed.

I have been rubber duckies on my tranys for 10 years at least and had no probs. All hitec and futaba gear. Planes and helis.
