Just a reminder. Check those rx batteries! I purchased a new one today that showed 5.2 on the meter after charging. 4 minutes later the heli was in pieces due to no link between my DX7 and rx. After the crash the batt showed 2.9 on the meter. LHS that sold me the batt is rebuilding Raptor! :arggg:

been there done that.
the gyro reset and the tail went nuts.
cut power and did the matrix dodge and watch it hit the ground.
now i charge all 3 of my packs the night before i go to the field.
after every flight i switch out and top em off.
a little extreme but i will do it till i get a load tester.
rather crash due to dumb thumbs then a dead RX battery

New Raptor fan here
The flight pack that came with my DX7 does not last more than 15 min.
Thus I don't trust it.
Was going to use on my first nitro a Raptor 30 V2 and during bench testing the radio and servos if I moved both sticks rapidly after 10 to 15 min the rx would loose it's connection. I did not like the idea of changing and charging packs every flight. I have some TP 2100 lipos for my MX400 so now using a lipo and a Koolflight UBEC on the Raptor no lost connections. I know adds more complexity something else to go wrong etc. but I had the lipos already and the UBEC was $12 ebay.
