OK to clear the air right off the bat, I know "it's just a shuttle"
But it's my first nitro. I have a t-rex 450 and maybe I'm spoiled but I would like a bit more oomph out of this puppy.
It's a fairly new engine so I'm gonna keep it for now. I've been to the posts about this ship and the .37 engine choice being the most common powerplant for better performance.
With that said, which muffler would you guys suggest to optimize this ship for FFF & basic aerobatics, with the minimal amount of frustration! I'm not to 3d stuff at all! yet.. but I do see the need for bail out power on windy days and sport flying yankin' and bankin'.
Be advised I'm still on 550 woodies and a plastic Rotor Head. Feel free to add Main blade recommendations too if you think it will help. I've been told woodies shouldn't be pushed to hard and the blade grips seem to have issues too according to the post's Iv'e read.
Here's what I have seen for recommendations for exhaust options:

Hatori tuned pipe
Hatori muffler
Muscle Pipe II ( head speed issues here?)
Century Torpedo
Weston ($$$)

i using a zimmerman with tons of power, if you want some carbon blades go for GCT experts wich are very good for a general sport blade.

Century(hi-volume) torpedo makes excellent bottom and mid range power for head speeds up to say 1,700 rpm
I run a two piece hatori header and pipe for lots of power and rpm's of 1,800-2,000
Just got some weston pipes...they sound sweet and make good mid range...they act like a govenor at about 1,600-1,650 head speed...I will now be running the weston on my hawk pro instead of the century torpedo.

If you need a weston for right hand mounting(cylinder head facing tail), let me know. I only use left hand mountings.
