Hello all,
There will be a new JR gyro on the market called the G770T. It should perform the same or even better than the 7000T. It comes with the very fast 8900G servo. The case of the gyro is completly made out of metal. The exact price and releasedate is not accounted yet, but the price would be around 200 euros. Maybe a good choice instead of the 401?
Here are some specs:
Dimensions: 25*27 mm
weight: 30 grams
It will work from 4.8 to 6.0 volt
The 8900G servo:
0.05 sec/60 degrees (Futaba measures by 45 degrees!)
3.5 kg of torque
Here are some pictures I took today:

I will fly the gyro this weekend and share my experiences with it with you.
