This is our 11th Anniversary, please come and join us and help celebrate. This is just a casual event where the emphasis is on having fun and enjoying the camaraderie of other helicopter pilots.

Historic campgrounds with hookups about 10 miles from field
At exit 108 of I-59 there is plenty of food places and this is the closest motels to the field.

Directions to the field:
Traveling from the South on I – 459 Exit 1 turn right onto Eastern Valley Road. Go to traffic light and turn left onto Bell Hill Road. Travel
Approx. 1 mile and the road will Y. take the left fork onto Dickey Spring Road. Travel approx 2 miles and the field will be on the left.
Traveling from the North on I –459 Exit 6 turn left. Go to traffic light and take a right onto Greenmor Drive. Stay on Greenmor and go under the railroad overpass. BEWARE this is only 8.5 feet clearance. Stay on Greenmor till you come to stop sign. Take the road that goes to the left. Stay on this road approx 1 mile and Dickey Springs road ( Hwy. 55) will turn to the right. Then go approx 1 mile on Dickey Springs Road and Flying field will be on the right.
Any Vehicle that is taller than 8 feet will have to come to the field via Exit 1.
Sleep Inn at Exit 6 on I-459 has a Special rate of $50 a night plus tax for the event. Tell them Helicopter event when making reservations.
205-424-0000 This is nice clean motel that is 2 miles from the field. There is food places close by also.
