Today a custom came in and showed me his CX2. he had put the folding blades upgrade on and now you can barely controll it. it appears he put it all together right but when it takes off it moves way too much by itself, its near impossible to control. any1 know what could be up?

Does that person have the upper CNC blade grips? If so thats the problem.

Makes the CX/CX2 top heavy I guess. All I know is if you take off thee upper grips leave the lower CNC ones on replace stock upper blades it'llbe fine. I wasted $30 on the Microheli upper grips.

Anything but zero wind tends to blow my CX2 around......hopefully the new tail will help with that......

Well I wish I could offer some good news but unfortunately, anything but zero wind will blow it around. The wind needs to be almost zero to fly outside with a cx2.

to make those folding blades work you need to get the upper blade hub from microheli. a buddy of mine bought that blade kit and after we installed it he had the same problem. we found that if you move the fly bar around you'll find that its tight and sticky which doesn't allow it to work properly. once its flying and you go to correct the movement of it, the heli just keeps going in the direction of the correction because the fly bar sticks in that position. i think the microheli hub changes the angle of the ball link to the flybar which is the source of the binding. if you unhook the link all the binding will be gone.

I have both the microheli and the E-flite upper hub. Doesnt work with either one.
