Hi all, just wondering if any one can shed some light on whats going on here.
I picked up a new tp 5000 bat for my rex about two weeks ago, it's never been mistreated in any way. In fact I've only done about six full time flights after six half-time break in flights. When charged and flying it seems fine, the problem is charging( TP 1010c charger with FP V-balance) almost from charge start the balancer is flashing up cell 1 and continues to try and drop this cell for 90% of the charge. At about 90% charge the balancer shows all is well but then as full charge approaches the other 5 cells start flashing and do so for ages after charging if finished.
The V-balancer seems to be dropping cell 1 down in the charge and then having to drop the other five cells to match once charging is finished, it;s taking a good 10/15 mins after charging to balance with the balancer getting REAL hot having to drop 5 cells down.
I'm waiting for a TP balancer but I'm not sure wheather this will make any difference as other TP and Align bats seem fine with this setup.
These bats aren't cheep so if theres a problem it'll be good to get it sorted.
