Anybody built one of these and flown it yet? I just built mine today and am curious why the stock canopy wont fit if you drill the dimpled holes out for the mount. It seems that the frames hit the nose of the canopy. Any suggestions?
This has not been a bad build with no inst. man. though, about 3 hrs. on full frame up.

A note,
If you are going to use the stock wood blades make sure that you glue the blade roots like you should do with any other wood blade.

No, I am building this for the LHS. He is letting me do what I want with it. I fly a trex 450se now. Just want to compare. I thought that it built well with no instr. I just wish I had the linkage links for the head. Thanks for any input.

Please let us know what the +'s and -'s are. I plan on getting one not too far down the road.

+'s in my opinion are Hich quality head and tail (bearings throughout), Easy to put together, interesteng design.... -'s in my opinion are electronics space ( will work out good for spektrum but I run crystal's for now and don't like to run the receiver's next to the motor and esc), Manual could be better detailed (link's) manual says the servo mounts are for HS-65's but I had to file them down to get the 65's to fit.
