Dual rates?

Is it better to add dual rates to a T-rex? I am able to fly fine with the tail toward me, but rotating it 180 degrees i have no control (with the nose toward me)! Would adding in dual rates help with making flying it easier or is it more of just getting used to it?

Simulator is the way but dual rates or expo will desensitize the controls and may make it a bit easier.
