I have an RD6000 that I am trying to use on a new Hurricane 550 and everything is fine except that I can only get a tiny bit of positive pitch when throttle is full up and have 20 + degrees negative pitch when throttle is full down. This is my first heli that was not a RTF. I am new to heli's and have resumed RC after almost a 40 year gap - Kraft was king when an ex-wife sold all my toys. I would appreciate suggestions from an expert as to what I have done wrong. Have tried setting throttle to REV - have checked SWH to ensure that it is set to right type mix.

I solved the problem but it does not seem to be the "right way" to me. I adjusted the center point on EL, AL and Pitch to 50% and adjusted the end points to 150 % and then set about to set up curve points. This just doesn't seem satisfying even though my eye tells me that it is working. Have I compensated for an improper mechanical configuration / setup with the electronics or is this the way it is done?
Somebody who knows the score please tell me what the deal is with this. Any help / comments humbly appreciated!

Adjusting the center points just skewed the whole radio setup. You need to 0 the center points and make the adjustments mechanically on the heli and then, if needed, adjust the center points by no more than +/- 10.

That's exactly what my engineer's mind kept telling my kid's mind that just wants to see this bird fly! Problem is that the mechanics of the head and the servo push - pull linkages all appear exactly as in the assembly manual for the bird but it is also obvious something is not right.
Finless is doing a series of build videos on the Hurricane so I guess I'll revisit the mechanical setup tonight and if my dull brain can't spot the problem wait for Bob's videos to be posted.
Thanks TM for confirming my feeling that my solution was not the right one.
