Hi everyone!!
I'm a total newbie at this, I just finished the assembly of my lepton.
Transmitter is off. Battery is plugged in, with all the electronics setup, but the motor is unplugged. When I try to plug it, it RUNS as if I had throttle going on, but the heli switch is off and so is the radio!!
Can anyone help on this?
Thanks!
Norm

Which ESC do you use? Stock Lepton or smth else? And why transmitter is turned off?

ALWAYS have the Tx on when you plug in the battery to the ESC!! If you do not the ESC will initialize and not "know " what throttle setting it should be at. It needs the input from the Tx to tell it what to do. It will not send power to the motor unless the sees a 0% throttle command first. If the Tx is off, I expect it will get confused. Read the ESC instructions, they should guide you in setting up the ESC.
Also, I never mess with the ESC to motor connections with the main battery plugged in. That is potentially a lot of amps and the surge could fry the ESC or motor windings.

I use the stock ESC !
So, if I understand correctly, I should always :
1) put the radio on, at throttle idle
2) plug in the motor to esc cables
3) turn on the heli/esc switch
4) plug in the battery
Is that correct?
Anyone would happen to have a pdf copy of the stock esc manual?
Thanks!

You need to find someone that can help you out locally. There is a lot to learn and the Lepton is not cheap to crash.
