Just curious.....it states that "because of DSM technology" it only needs 4 batteries....
But I have Spektrum car setups, and all need 8 cells....

Because the TX requires less voltage

The Tx that comes with the CX2 is designated "LP5" which stands for "low power 5 channel". Not only is DSM2 a very low drain application, but this Tx is only designed for a range of few hundred feet and hence can get by with fewer batteries. Your Spektrum car setup is DSM(1) which uses about twice the power of DSM2 and is no doubt a "full range" system.

That's what I was thinking.....I wound not want this heli as far away as my cars get.... :lol:
