How do you guys like the G3?

I love it also. I went straight from FMS to Realfight G3.5. Huge difference, helped more than you could imagine.

Paid for itself 10 times over. It's not the real thing, but close enough for me. If I can do it consitantly on G3, I can do it at the field.

Thanks guys for the replies, now correct me if i am wrong but this Sim comes with the Radio correct? if so are you guys using the radio it comes with or are you using your DX6/DX7/Fut/Jr, etc radios?


I am hoping to pick this up this week. as i could use the all the help i can get.

It comes with a Futaba based looking controler that hooks to the USB port on your computer, works fine for me, so that is what I use.

I use my DX7 connected through the included controller. I love my G3.5.

You can use your own radio, plugged into the USB radio (Dongle) but I have been told that you must program your own radio for each heli you fly in G3......

Well i am running a DX6 on my 450 right now but plan on getting a DX7 for my 600 that i have and plan to switch my 450 over to the DX7 in time. but if the kit comes with a radio then i will just use that verses a 3rd program on my radio

well see how it is with the supplied radio before hooking up my DX6 or future DX7

G3 comes with a controller/interface it is not a "Real Radio"

Well i picked up the G3 i got a good deal on it so i passed on the 3.5 , i couldn't pass up this deal. any updates or upgrades i should look into?

do not save em as a zip file.
make sure they are the G3X files.
when in the sim go to simulation up top
then go to import
import G3X

the models will import and boom your flyin :mrgreen:

wow the 450 is touchy as all! the 600 was alot more solid! i did my first flips today! but dont expect me to be doing them with my real rex's just yet lol
