I was asked this question by a fellow Helifreak, I took the measurements of both the Hawk and the Stinger swashplates. What do you folks think?
I don't know how much tolarance these things have, but it could work. My measurements are not "scientific" there could vary a little. I just measured them with my dial calipers.
Both machines are on a 10mm main shaft.
Measurement from Aileron to Aileron (from ball link tip to tip)
Hawk- 67.85mm
Stinger- 65.57mm
Measurement from inside plastic swashplate Aileron to Aileron (inside dimensions
Hawk- 48.50mm
Stinger- 49.07mm
Measurement of metal ring on swashplate (inside metal part)
Hawk- 25.14
Stinger- 26.00
Measurement from plastic part elevator front to back (measured platic outside, no ball)
Hawk- 56.76
Stinger- 55.09
These measurements are very close. but I am not sure whether close would count????
