Default Tail setup question

I've almost finished the SK720 setup on my heli. It's an LaHeli Ricco, for reference.

I've got a question about the tail setup...

Every other gyro I've setup sets the tail pitch slider in the middle of it's travel when the servo and tail control bellcrank are at 90 degrees. For most helicopters this means some amount of tail pitch built in which makes sense to me because once the blades are spinning, there will always be a bit of tail pitch required to counteract the torque. Why is the setup for the Skookum different?

if you follow the skookum tail setup wizard it asks you to first set the servo horn at 90 deg to the servo, then mechanically set your tail blades to 0 pitch, and tell it where the center is, then set the left and right, you notice tho that when the blades are at 0 pitch the slider isint in the middle, so when you power up the gyro dosent put the servo at 90 deg, it moves it to add in the tail pitch to counter the torque, its an easier setup to do for us.

I did this and I end up with travel of 100% one direction and 150% the other?

Does this seem normal?

=] as Johnny says zero tail pitch, servo at 90 deg. do this with the collective at zero.

no need to squeeze all the travel here, just balance the end points, it works well,.look at your 150% travel, is that more than 35 deg??
