The 23rd Annual St. Louis Whirlybirds Fun Fly will be held on Saturday, June 2nd and Sunday, June 3rd, 2007 at Buder Park St. Louis Missouri (Fun Fly is NOT held at the club field). All are welcome to attend and arrive early (just let us know). The field is open from 8:00a.m. till dark with night flying available on Saturday (please let us know). Several events will be held for novice, intermediate, and advanced pilots with first and second place prizes being awarded. There will be an emphasis on open flying all weekend. Food and drink provided on site plus electric power (generators) for charging batteries. Buder Park is a HUGE open field with plenty of room - so mark your calendar and plan to attend!

Pilots, sponsors, prizes, and details will be updated as we get information.

I know the club was started back in 1984. But I remember the first St. Louis fun fly was back in the early to mid 90's,

Had a blast in St Louie! Little rain event saturday afternoon but I used it to my advantage and went after some fly fishing gear I was needing. Got back just as it was getting cranked up again.

Other than that great weekend, great hosts and great flying. All of the St Louis crew are big fun to hang out with and put on a great event.

I've been to several funflys this year and had seen Jamie Robertson fly quite a bit. Sunday, he entered the freestyle event and opened a fresh 40 oz can of WHOOP AZZ. This guys tricks are TIGHT and Jim keeps their helis operating at 110%.

Good work guys!

This was a great event and I will definantely come back next year, there was a pretty good turnout despite a couple hours of rain on Saturday.

Thanks for the compliments Robert, and my dad told me to tell you thanks to.

Yeah! You definately "brung it" to the freestyle.

I thought I'd seen you fly and was impressed with that until I saw you compete.

Maybe next time I'll have my stuff charged, so look out!
