Yup, 15T is good... You can maintain around 4,400rpm easily.
I am tempted to try 14T however....

Yeah im running 15T on mine, I fully intended to install a 14T (i like keeping my helis a bit tame) but its running just nice as is, and if it aint broke you definatly dont fix it on a 250

anyone tried the 5900kv scorpion motor? dont know which to get.

You would only want the 5900kv if you were trying to do a 2 cell setup... The kv is far too high for a 3 cell setup on this bird.
