I've got a Triton2 on the way, never used one before, and I'm fairly new to batteries, etc. I have one 2000mAh 4.8V, one 1100mAh 4.8V, and one 1400mAh 4.8V. All are NiMH. Is there a "standard" amperage to charge the batteries at? I'm assuming its based off the mAh, but I'm not sure. Thanks for any help!

Nimh batteries do best with a 1c or less charge rate. FOr example the 2000mah pack would be charged at 2.0 amps, the 1400mah would be charged at 1.4 amps, ect. Nimh packs will get hot if you charge them at very high rates. Some of the rc car guys charge Nimh packs at over 2c rating but I would not recommend doing this. The lower the charge rate the longer your packs will last.
Also the first few charges you should use a very small charge rate to bring the packs to life. The triton 2 has a discharge function that will discharge and then recharge the packs to do this. You will be able to see the ammount of capacity removed and put back in after each cycle. Usually the ammount will increase for the first 3-4 cycles untill the pack reaches or exceeds the rated capacity.
The triton2 will come with a nice manual that will have all this info int it.
