I just received the 3s balance adapter for DN lipo packs to thunder power balance adapter and it seems that it is wired incorrectly. Anyone else notice this? The adapter that is supplied with the battery is correct and I beleive it is the same as the align packs?
Not a big deal I just pulled the wires and reversed them..
the picture shows my adapter AFTER I reversed the thunder power connector end on the ADAPTER ONLY.
Please let me know if this is right or wrong...

Eeek! I wish I could tell you absolutely for certain... but all I can tell you is to be very cautious... based on:
I was at the local hobby shop when he got his first DN stuff. I distincly remember looking at that adapter and being convinced (just like you) that it was backwards. We argued and argued and twisted and looked... and finally just plugged the darn thing in (because it was a first shipment and we could always just send it ALL back!!). Worked fine.
So, I don't remember enough detail to say for certain which way is correct. I do remember that it "looked" very deceiving.
Sorry, I may have just ruined your evening (but maybe saved a pack or a charger).

After looking at it more, It is correct ONLY if you use the supplied adapter that comes with the battery.
Anyways by reversing my connector it will allow me to eliminate the extra adapter cable needed.
after you said that it allowed me to understand how they have it wired..seems odd but It dose appear to be wired correctly after all.

The tab that connects to the battery was on wrong on two of my adapters. I had to switch it around also. The small tab that goes to charger was on fine.

Thanks, I have already done the reversing trick, My picture above shows the results after reversing.
Just thought I would ask and show a picture to make sure its right.
Thanks again, everyone!!

Did you reverse every wire or just the ground and number four wire (third red wire)? Funny thing is with the batteries included adapter reversing wires already, it will plug right into my Cell Pro's E-flite adapter board. I bought the TP adapter since the batteries main balance connector matched the style of E-flite batteries but had the ground on the wrong side for the E-flite adapter board. I also charge E-flite 800mah batteries for my CX2 and had to have the Cell Pro adapter board.

I basically romoved the Thunder power end of the cable and just flipped it upside down. I left the order of the wires the same. but now instead of the black wire being on top, its now on the bottom.
