We got a chance to try some of the new FlightPower 25C packs and they are simply awesome. There is a night and day difference in them compared to the 20C packs we were currently using. They run cooler, provide more power and we are using less MAH per flight for the same given time.

Nice ! I can see a difference between the 20 and the 22C packs, can't wait to try some 25C 8s bricks.

I've just bought two Flightpower 3s 2170Mah Evo 20's.

Are you telling me they are already outdated????

Although mine are the Evo 20's, they do say 25c.

Hi growler! The EVO 20's you have just purchased are still awesome batteries but like computers, battery technology is changing very rapidly. Technology will only get better as battery company's figure out how to make them lighter and more powerful.

Enjoy what you have and the power the EVO20's have to offer.

15C means the pack can provide a continuous current of 15 times the C value of the battery. The C value is basically the amp equivalent of the mAh capacity of the pack. For a 2200 mAh pack, the C value would be 2.2A. A 2200 mAh 15C pack can provide a continuous current of 33A (15 * 2.2A).

22C vs 25C.

I have the TRex 450SE V2 with the BL35X ESC. Am I safe to go to a 25C battery or will this definately fry the ESC? Appears that a 25C battery is more readily available than the 22C that looks like only Align makes. I don't fly 3D so I won't be pushing it to the limits by any means. So could I use the packs below without problems?

EVO25, 2170mah, 25C
Air Thunder, 2100mah, 25C
Fusion Pack 3s 2200mah 11.1volt 25C (https://fusion-pack.com/productdetail.aspx?id=105&cat=84)
OUTRAGE XP25 3S1P 2200mAH 25C - XTREME POWER SERIES (http://www.helidirect.com/product_info.php?cPath=31_410&products_id=6173)

I'm leaning toward the Outrage XP25
