Where is the correct setting for my channel 5 knob on the TX? I am still learning to hover and the less rudder trim I have to use, the better off I'll be. Where does everyone on here set the knob? What about on the gyro itself? Any adjustment needed? :arggg:

If you look at this drawing (from another post I made) the pointer should be roughly at the 2-3 o'clock position. Halfway begtwen the 0% and the full "+".
Exactly where is a trial and error, by cranking it higher untilthe tail starts to wag, then backing it down a bit.

Did you ever adjust the actual gyro itself? Do you adjust the ch. 5 knob in flight, or just touch the rudder trim? What's easier....adding more or less rudder during flight, or adjust the trim tab?

Set the gyro at 50%. Then use the knob to adjust the gain. Are you using heading Hold? I believe the gain adjust the sensitivity of the gyro. Do like Slikrx says above then use trim to ease out any drift you might be getting. You shouldn't be getting any though if your in HH mode.

Does anyone else make subtle adjustments to the tail trim durning flight as the battery wears down? I normally make a slight adjustment to the tail trim after about 2-3min of flight to keep the tail stationary.

I do. Even with the G90 I have to make Very minor trim adjustments at least once durring flight.
