I have a DX7 and just love it. I also got the Spektrum SPM6805 Trainer Cord:
Will a DX6 work as a buddy box with a DX7. I want to find the cheapest solution as a buddy box to use my DX7, this cord and by GREAT Trex450.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I have an older JR radio XF622 that works just fine as a buddy box. That's cheaper than the dX6.

Question???
What if you are using the DX6 as a slave and you have the DX7 set up with the gyro gain on Aux2. The DX6 only has 6 channels and the DX7 has 7.
A friend said he almost lost one while using a 6102 as the slave with this setup. I still have to look at his setup to see what trainer mode he was using, but he could still get the 6 channel versus 7 channel scenario,??????

doesn't work like that, you setup Plink and just sticks/trims work.
