A am a fixed wing pilot experimenting with a Blade CPP. I can hover fairly well and am starting on forward flight.
I understand that you can use a Futaba TX with a Blade by switching crystals, is that right? I could also use some pointers with regard to setting up the Blade, if some are available.
Thanks

Do you have a 12Z? if so I will save off my file and send it to you.. It will get you started and flying fairly well but as with all things my links might be different lengths than yours etc so some setup may be required. Mine actually flies alot better on my 12z than the stock radio hehe I wonder why that is. lol
Sometime tonight or this weekend I will get you that file just copy it onto your CF card and place in your radio

Sorry Fred I am ignorant.. I just noticed you are looking for a setup for a Blade CP Pro.. (I didnt read the entire title first) I will send along my settings anyway but be aware they are for the older Blade CP.. Maybe someone else can chime in here and let us know if they are roughly the same or not.

I found some settings for a 9c on ezone and the heli is flying fine with my 12z now. I'm not sure it's optimized, but it seems smoother.
I set a thr cut switch that keeps the engine killed until I'm ready to fly, I think it's safer that way.
I haven't set "idle-up" yet. I'm not sure I need to at my level of flying, but I'm sure I'll want to in the future. How do I do that on the 12z?

Thats how I do it.. good to go then hehe was just getting ready to ask your email and send it to ya
I have idle up1 and 2 set up on my 12z You do it the same as any other heli. Meaning there is nothing special about doing it for the CP.. If you do not know how to set them at all when I come back from the field, we can hook up and go over it on the phone. I will email you for your number since LD is free for me.
