SO far i have done the tail and boy was i surprised when i lifted it. There is some weight in this stuff.

You don't notice the weight in flight, Adam....They are very agile. I find mine more fun than Ion......

For my ability i am sure the heft will be helpful. Almost done now, just the head to go and electronic install.

As much fun as this has been i cant help feeling MA really missed the boat here.

I really believe that the razor is too much heli for the 600mm blade arena. With all the engineering and design that has gone into it, 680 blades would have made more sense. Its not that i dont like what i see or feel but there just seems too much of it. Now that i am doing the head this really stands out , it is head and shoulders beyond any of the 600mm competition in terms of robustness and heft. This should provide a lifetime of enjoyment without failure.

Anyhow, nearly finished now and it has been a joy.

Pretty much all done and test hovered. This machine is very impressive from the very little i have seen so far. Even at very low headspeeds for the initial hover it was rock steady and felt great. Looking forward to getting it out into some open space.

Looking good Ozace. I do remember either MA, or someone, saying that this heli was meant to be slightly bigger than the standard .50 size machine, but that it may be flown with 600mm baldes. I guess it's a .50+ size.. hehe.

hey , looking good Oz
well , spring is here for a few days , so I unpacked my Razor from my trip to vegas , and YEH! , I sure need a fix for my addiction . I have some 620 VBlades here , cant wait to try them. also , Im going to run 10s on there since thats the gearing I have in there right now , 12s and the gov knocked down that far , Im thinking will hurt a few things , I like to run an actual 85% throttle gov ,

The only thing neg. I have heard about the ma razor is that its a little on the heavy side, whatever that means. I'm sure its a great flyer just like all ma products. Jimmi :glasses2: P.S. nice looking razor ozace
