View Full Version : Tail gyro and AP 2000i simulation in RF3.5?

I've been practicing on RF3.5 for a couple of weeks, and it occurs to me that most of my problems arise from the tail being out of whack with the direction of flight. (Well, that and the fact I'm not nearly as coordinated as I thought.)
Is there a way to "install" a G401 and an AP 2000i in an RF3.5 heli?
Thanks,
Sandy

To the best of my knowledge, all G3.5 models come with HH gyros. You can tweak the gyro settings in the Aircraft Editor (dropdown menu Aircraft/Edit model). Gyro settings are found under Electronics.
As for the AP 2000i, there is this "self hovering heli" (http://www.knifeedge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12301&highlight=aerial+photography) on the knifeedge forum. I haven't tried it, but it's the only thing I could find. :D

Yo c0bra,
Thanks for the help. I never would have guess that KE would have included HH gyros. Thanks.
BTW have you tried the Logo 10 3D on the swap page of the forum? The beast is a dream.
I'll check into the "self hovering heli". Intriguing...
Thanks again,
Sandy
