Here is some pictures of the Tempest Rage fuselage from Rufftech Engineering. Ray Powell is President and CEO of Rufftech Engineering.
Ray designed the Rage and laid it up and painted it.
I have not had a chance to fly it yet. But as soon as the weather clears (rain). I am going to see how it works. I have seen the original Rage perform and it flew nicely.

I like it. It sure simplifies getting the heli in a full body. You can even work on it.

Yes it simplifies a fuselage and working on the model.
Just to brag on Ray and his painting skills. He painted the canopy for me in Summer of 03. He painted the Rage fuselage rear section about 2 weeks ago. It amazed me that the lines matched as well as they do and all he had to go on was a picture. Either he has lots of talent or he is just lucky. He has talent and can spray some paint.
He will be selling some painted canopies at Mulberry next weekend I believe.

That looks real nice, David. :D What are the main and TR blades?? The tails look like the stock sceadu TR blades if they were white instead of blue. ;)

I guess is would be too much to ask for one that fits the Predator.

Nolan,
The tail blades are the KSJ scimitar tail blades that are plastic. The mains are 710mm SAB's right now. I will have to fly it in forward flight and try some different main blades to make a final decision on them.

David that sure looks sharp! Is it my eyes or does the tail appear to rise at a slight angle? Do you know if Ray is working on something similar but like an enclosure for the frame? Something that would just wrap around the backside that would help streamline back-wards flight and protect all the gears and servos from getting exaust gunk all up in there. I was working on a mold but kind of left it by the wayside.

Ray is a hell of a nice guy as well. He stopped by one of our fun flys and helped a guy setup his tempest FAI. They spent a couple of hours on it. That fuse is very nice. It looks great in the air and makes the heli very fast in forward flight.
