The nipple is plastic and the seal is rubber, so it will flex. What I do is take hold of the end of the nipple and rotate it around in a circle motion to help free it from the rubber all the while pulling easily outward, it sould come out no problem.
Hope this helped.

Since you're replacing the clunk line - I'd recommend going to the Hayes black line. Lasts much longer than the other stuff!
It does swell a bit, so cut a little shorter than normal. Most of the guys I fly with use it...............

Replace your clunk line!!!
As with most manufactures, the stock clunk line does not last long. I got 15 flights before I auto'd her in. Clunk line in main tank was split.
Don't take the easy way out like I did, just change it when you build.

The Neprene is a good line , but as Rock mentioned it will swell, ask me how I know, Steven had to make an inverted flip to rightside up one day because I have a custom 2oz header tank on ours and I used the hayes line and it swelled and got stuck in the corner right when he was doing some inverted stuff, she went kapoot, he's quick and just flipped it and auto'd it on down.
I've been replacing all my tanks on all my helis with Med size Prather, it's still flexable enough to stay in all the corners, seems to last and last, got 6 gallons through the main tank. I'm still using the supplied line in the kit on the outside to the carb, I don't run a fuel "T" on my 50's so I'm pulling the line on/off the carb nipple directly to fill and de-fuel and it is still tight after 6 gallons.
Rusty is already working on that
