Well i decided to give the dd tail thing a try.Well it was the worst thing i ever tried to do r/c related.First off i got the CN-12 motor with the prop's part#GWSEDP50XC.And there was no screws. So i tried some screws "BIG MISTAKE" The screws were long and broke the copper wire inside the motor. So that killed the motor there. So my question is can someone Please tell me what size screws that i should get for this dd tail mod. Also are these the right props for my heli? It is much smaller than stock

Well that would work. I dont know what size screws they are but if you get desperate I have at least 4 sets of them. IF you dont get a response on the size send a PM I'll get some to ya. I know how bad it sucks to be grounded.

OH ya look on www.bladecprepair.com. Thats what most people use. Problem is that motor is only rated for 7.something (2? 4?) volts. Thats why I kept burnning the little things up. You have the right motor, I like the prop adapter like on bladecprepair but yours should work. The guy that did the awesome flight with the CPP used that same set up. Your LHS should have screws in the car department that will fit that motor. Just take the motor with you. Sorry I dont know the size.

I just burned out one of the GWS motors and have more on the way. I'll have extra screws shortly
I measured one of my screws and the threads measured 1.56mm x 2.75 mm.
I am tempted to try that other brushless DD motor...

IF you go brushless get a castlelink ESC with the usb program cord. You'll need it. If you need some help setting it up (and you cant get a hold of a more knowledgeable person ) drop me a line. I recommend the Phoenix 10 or 25.
