hey! well I get to add another heli to my fleet , well sort of a fleet if I dont get rid of the others , so far the longest one I kelp was the fury E conversion . but this heli is the prize of them all ,
I have 2 heads I can try , tempest 3D or the tempest FAI head , as you can see in the picture , the motor is a 32-3 and I ordered the kit without the hacker setup , and the actro airplane mount setup , part# MA99-900 and the kit # is MA1024-6 , price from Ricks is 949.00 for kit and 130 for the mount ,
The conversion kit P/N is 124-110 for "heli" actro 32-3
another heli to build over the winter time . I will post updates of the build through the winter , and test it in the GYM

well , sometimes I go through these phases , (GOT TO HAVE IT) ! and man it sure hits hard , this is worse than my drinking habbit I had 12 years ao before I quit , and it was bad and cost a pile of money , but at least Im not drunk and wasting my life away not remembering .
Jimmy , you going to get one ? heres a picture of the Fury conversion I been getting ready to fly again , the second rebuild this year , not even 20 flights yet , I been waiting for the heli gods to be nice to me again . and man I missed the power this one has . I will be going down to 12s though , unless I get a 40-160 , if I can talk Chris off of one , he he
I will run it on 10s in the gym though , should be a 15 to 1600 headspeed still , and also Im running a S-bec off of one of the 5s3ps , its hooked into my 3 way Y harness, and this heli has the Ion boom , had to bet it cause I had nothing but 31 1/2" booms on hand and didnt fill like making up some different lenth rods and braces

Tony,
It looks good. I will stick to the build your own for the time being. I am planning an FAI model this winter. I will try to document it here on HeliFreak. I am still scared of SBECs. I have had a lot of problems out of similar products at work. You perfect it and I will try it:)
The Ion is a very nice bird and the only one in its class.
Jimmy
HI misskimo
WHAT GEAR RATIO ARE YOU RUNNING ON YOU CONVERTED FURY?
ORIGINAL MAIN GEAR 93TEETH OR NEW 95TEETH MAIN.

hey , a 95 t main and a 10 thooth ,
misskimo
what controller are you using on the 13s3p?
what battery configuration are you running two packs 7s3p + 6s3p.
I'd used new ion side frames on my 50 conversion living the boom the same.
not flown yet waiting for motor mount from chris minair. planning to run 10s4p on it should go OK.

Hay Tony,
What fan do I see on your Actro motor set up you show in the pick? Where did you get it?

Hi Russ
That fan now comes in the conversion kits for the Actros and LRK's. We do sell it separately. It's a little nylon 2" fan with a 6mm bore. Simple and works well to keep the outrunners cool.

hey , the build is going kinda well , but there is something that I think MA needs to work on , the book of instructions , its great, but no ref. of what the part # is . Im the type of person that likes to look at detail prints with little instructions , like ex. instructions for the logo 14 and the quick 10 was just plan and very simple, it gave you the part# with the part in actual size printed on the instruction just to make sure you couldnt mess up, I thing that was a great tool .
the last picture is with the 3D tempest head on there , sure looks good

Tony,
It looks good.
You don't need no instructions. This makes each kit an individual. It also makes you very familiar with the parts when you take it apart to put it back together correctly
