Thanks in advance..I'm still debating about my next heli. Nitro or Electric. Currently debating a Titan 50(nitro) or Trex 600N/E.

I believe it's an end of April release date.

Rumours of $600 for the pro (CF frame and Torque Tube) and $400 for the normal (Alu frame and belt tail)

The prices are not official and I'm sure Andy here will know more on that :)

$600 seems like a lot of cash for a 50...

I think it comes with an engine at that price hyper os?

Considering the TT is a $110 USD upgrade, it's not too bad.

$600 seems like a lot of cash for a 50...

All metal head, CF frame, painted fiberglas canopy. Actually, it is a pretty good deal. If you price out a Raptor 50 with the same stuff, it will be much more expensive.

Yep a Hyper 50 motor comes with it and that is $200 right there so... call it a $400 kit.

I've asked several sources and they all said the same thing. The $600 kit DOES NOT include the engine. I was really hoping it did but several sources have said it is a kit only price.

Gscott is correct. It will not include an engine at that price.

It's not bad still though, if you consider the equivalent raptor, the SE, is also a $600 kit, and that doesn't include torque tube, nor does it come with a nice CF body...just faux CF

my understanding that it will come with a 1800mah lithium rx pack, regulator some what like the electric.
So I don't think that is too bad of a price for what you get
Have mine on pre order for the pro version.
Any one want a Raptor 50?!

Any idea when they'll be taking pre-orders? I'm on "the list", but haven't been asked to put money down or anything.

Hello All,

I've been "sitting on the fence" for quite awhile in regards to a .50 size machine... My experience is an Esky Honeybee FP, Esky CP2 and now I'm building a T-Rex450. The next logical choice was a .50 size heli!

The electric T-Rex600 was attractive to me except when I found out that I'd have to put ~$250 batteries in it and would only get ~6-7 minutes run time... Since we were recently thrown out of our local "unofficial" electric park, I figure I'll have to join a club where flying glow won't be a big deal...

Since that revelation, I've been looking at the .50 size helis for awhile. I've been all over the place, looking at TT, Gohbee, Audacity, etc. When I heard of the nitro T-Rex 600, it seemed like a promising heli. I'm impressed with the quality of the Align stuff.

Question: Is it really an "all metal head"??

i think the pro version will have a metal head the standard model wont i think

PRO kit has torque tube, CF frame, FG canopy.

Standard will be belt drive tail, G10 frames and plastic canopy.

Nothing about the standard not being metal head.

Combos will be available for both. I would assume Align branded OS Hyper and maybe some blades. No pricing yet.

The metal bead block, and swash is standard on all 600 kits.

Hey Frank,

Can you confirm that the kits will include bec and rx lipo? Many people are wondering abouth this.

Thanks,

Tom

The flyer that was posted up says the standard version will be a plastic frame. I think that's from align themselves, but I'm not sure it could be from a hobby shop or something
