Raptor 90 main shaft and main gear problems

Here is the situation. I can not install the bolt through the main gear/ main shaft with the collar installed under the upper bearing. If I release the collar, I can install the bolt, but the can't install the collar. If I flip the upper brg block everything works out. I thought that the recess on the upper block should be on top, and the lower block on the bottom.

Are you sure the main shaft is not upside down?

The side of the bearing block with the raised ring is on top of the top bearing block and the bottom of the bottom bearing block.

When I install the blocks the way that you say, That is when I have the problem.

You have to tap the main shaft into the lower bearing a little. I built my 90 a couple of weeks ago and had the same problem. Tap it softly with a rubber hammer. Sounds rough, but it works.
