Hello together!

This weekend, I was successfully flight-testing my (fixed...) turbine with the new paint on...

Here are some pics of mine, why don't you show us yours? :)

I hope you'll like these, I'm for sure looking forward for yours...

May I present: Supryia [indian name: beloved]
(unfortunately no flight-pics yet, due to absent photographer...)

Hey Danny! Looks good! I like the way you mounted the fuel and gas fittings on the bottom of the frame!

But...is it an optical illusion or are the blades really that close to the tail blades?

Also what size blades are you running and what is the overall weight?

Cheers!

Oh...here is mine...

and a vid...

Me too. Nice video, Greg. Check pic 2 and you'll see the head isn't along the boom. Blades do look close in the first one, though.

Get some video of yours too, Danyboy. Nice machine. :)

Hello Grag, hello all! :)

Overall weight is approx 8,5kg, swinging 810mm semi-symetrics. If you look from the side on the tail-rotor, measured along the boom, there's a gap of around one inch between rotordisk and tailrotor-tips.

Craig, what do you mean? They all got a helmet, two rotors and a pair of skids... ;)

Marks, I'm really looking forward to some real flying now... I really have to strengthen my confidense on the reliablity on the flame-out-topic though, but I'm really *very* eager to fly... Also looking forward to have some pictures taken, video is in preparation... :)

Cheers,

Daniel

I was just razzing Greg, since his Intrepid has been filmed and photoed more than most celebrities! Craig

Craig,

I also thought like "hey, that one looks familiar..." until I had another look at that movie that's saved on my desktop... ;)

No offense meant and none taken... :)

Cheers,

Daniel
