i have seen this treed with emoli cell`s with 5 s 3 volt so i think its possible

I have tried to fit some A123 cells in my Lepton, if anything, you may be able to run 4s or 5s, but my power system was not close enough to run the A123 cells. I will have to take another look at it now with the new pinions available and see what I could make work.

can you give same setup info you run

a 5s a123 on the lepton seems like an intriguing setup. I wonder if they do fit in sideways like that link suggested. Has anyone tried it?

Yes 5s A123 should fit. I did some drawing in cad a while back to see what would fit. 5s would fit and 6s just barely would not fit. 6s would work with some modification to the bird. I don't remember if a simple flatpack would work. You might have to "zigzag" the cells in the battery area to get 5 in there as the A123's are a little bigger than the emoli's.

6s test set up i test it with weight in it and the balance is ok.
6s a123 450 gram 3,3x6=19,8 volt
5s a123 375 gram 3,3x5= 16,5 volt
5s lipo 3,7x5=18,5 volt.
so i think it will fun in a lepton or a 3dx5550 like i have.
nou i have to bay them some wear.
